Fall is here 🍁

I am still in my temporary home and office in Vermont. Really looking forward to moving into my permanent digs in November. Hope you are all having a wonderful fall. Let's dive into the LinkedIn updates for September.

LinkedIn Updates – September 2022

For Companies:

πŸ‘‰ LinkedIn is working on a scheduling feature for posts. Will be more convenient ....but always remember to stay engaged with the comments!

For Job Seekers:

πŸ‘‰ LinkedIn wants to make it easier for employees to find jobs at the companies where they already work. This feature is called the ‘dedicated jobs’ feature. Find it in the ‘jobs at your company's part in the Jobs Tab. You will find that newly outlined roles seen in the firm will be highlighted.

Interesting for all:

πŸ‘‰Pin the best comment to the top of your post. Now you can give visibility to your faves. I just got this feature and enjoy it

πŸ‘‰Our messaging inbox has been improved. The options are now "focused" or "other" which is similar to email. I love this because I want to focus on my higher-priority messages.

πŸ‘‰LinkedIn may be adding translated captions generated by machine technology in various languages. This will give much wider access to LinkedIn’s Learning platform.

πŸ‘‰ Find the option to create a new audio event front and center. It is right on the bottom section of where you create a new post.

πŸ‘‰ Look for spotlight posts in your notifications tab. LinkedIn is leveraging AI and providing a summary of the content.

πŸ‘‰ Have you noticed the new notification for your invitations to connect? Mine now indicate that the person is a follower and has invited me to connect.
